| This image was taken in a boat on the Agmon pond in the Hula Valley in Northern Israel. The Agmon pond is an artificial pond which was built to maintain a relatively high water table in the Hula Valley basin. | This image was taken at the Ramat HaNegev Experimental Station. The Device that I am holding is a frequency domain reflectometer (a Campbell Scientific CS615 Water Content Reflectometer). The FDR was inserted into the soil at a depth of 15 cm and the diurnal variations in soil moisture monitored. |
